Let's say your patient has developed a
Breast Lump.You want to give the patient as much
information as possible on this condition.
After explaining it in person, you refer to The DrPEN®
Directory and look up Breast Lump (page 14). You jot down the Network's
direct link on a prescription pad (in this case, www.drpen.com/611.72)
for breast lump information as found on the National Cancer Institute's
website. Upon returning to the home or office, the patient may then
access specific, reliable information via the Internet. |

Of course, she has the option of
navigating through the entire National Cancer Institute's website; it is the
specific information on the Breast Lump condition, however, the patient is
able to access first. Patient education delivered in ONE CLICK will save
everyone involved -- doctors, patients and medical staff -- an enormous
amount of time and worry. Further, it will greatly reduce the paper clutter
of unwanted (and seldom-used) brochures and literature.
